We have decided once again to close our store temporarily until the current Covid-19 situation has eased however our online store is operating and we are taking phone orders.

We will be spending this time wisely by building a new and better website for you all.

We have also decided to cancel all classes for the remainder of the year so as not to add to the ongoing confusion as to whether they will go ahead or not.

We wish you all well and hope you stay safe and virus free.

Hugs and best wishes to you all,

Sharon and Alison

We love everything about Alison Glass fabric. From the vivid saturation of colour to the arty array of prints. We have recently added to our collection with the arrival of Handiwork. Hers are a few words from Alison herself....

‘Surrounded in the joy of creating, family heirlooms like my grandmother’s crochet tablecloth, my mom’s collection of antique beaded handbags, and my own collection of embroidery designs inspired this collection. I hope you will love it and enjoy incorporating the fabrics into your own handmade projects’.

It is with much sadness that we have had Amy Butler's final fabric range Natural Beauty arrive in our store. It is another beautiful range using Amy's trademark colourful palette and a mix of floral and geometic prints. We will certainly miss having her fabric in our store as will you all.

A couple of words from Amy .....................................................................................................

My fascination and love for wild creatures, plants and flowers started when I was very young spending hours with my Mom and Grandma in the woods, on the rivers and under the stars. They’re artists too and they taught me the value of experiencing the beauty in nature, and with unspo...

Anybody who has been into our store will be well aware of how we love the colour wheel. We seem to have an affiliation with using the colour wheel as our palette in many of our quilts. We have featured Alison Glass fabrics  in our 2019 Block of the Month so are now super excited to have her new 2019 Sunprint range in store now. We are already making good use of this vibrant range of fabrics in a new quilt which we will feature at the Australian Quilt Convention in April.

A bit about Sun Print 2019 from Alison Glass and her team:

We are thrilled with this line. The designs, scale, and colors make it an excellent addition to the Sun Print family of fabrics. ‘Daydream’, from Road Trip, makes a se...

So when you find the time give this cracking recipe a try. They were delicious!

This gorgeous range of fabric has just rolled in through the back door. It is just so beautiful and the colours are divine. Read what Amy has to say about this latest range of fabrics.......

A little bit of mythology and a lot of magic inspires my Night Music collection. Folklore from the Gond tribe in central India says that during the day the natural world is busy taking care of the needs of everyone, and that at night the luminous spirits from the forest come alive. They believe that all of life is magical and integrated, and all aspects of the natural world are inseparable. This idea is both mysterious and charming and connects us to the seen and the unseen bringing about a positive feeli...
